The Opportunity
Are you a shepherd or shepherd general looking for an opportunity to join the team on one of the north Islands largest Sheep and Beef Stations.
If youre passionate about farming and eager to take on a varied and rewarding role we want to hear from you.
As a shepherd youll work closely with the stock managers and farm manager who will support your growth and development.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Livestock management and stock work
Some tractor work training provided
General farm maintenance and fencing
This sheep and beef farm offers opportunities for good dog work with diverse hill country terrain. youll thrive on variety and enjoy rolling up your sleeves to tackle all aspects of farm life.
The Farm
Panekiri is one of Pmus largest farming operations positioned next to Te Urewera National Park just 40 kilometres northwest of Wairoa.
The station spans 8982 hectares including 5200 hectares of effective rolling hill country wintering 50000 stock units.
The station offers outstanding recreational activities including hunting hiking and fishing with a school bus at the farm gate and a strong local community.
About You
Youre passionate about farming love working with livestock and want to be part of a small team that works hard and gets results. Youre practical and always looking for ways to do the job better.
