Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic General Manager Vendor Management to lead the growth and development of our Client and Endpoint Devices portfolio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end category management including product strategy assortment planning pricing and vendor relationships. This role requires a combination of analytical skills market knowledge and business acumen to drive category performance and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Category Strategy: Develop and implement a strategic roadmap to drive category growth profitability and market share.
Product Assortment & Development: Identify gaps in the category introduce new products and optimize the existing portfolio.
Market & Competitor Analysis: Conduct market research to understand trends customer preferences and competitive positioning.
Vendor & Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers negotiating the best terms for pricing margins and supply chain efficiency.
Pricing & Promotion Management: Define pricing strategies promotional campaigns and discounts to optimize revenue and customer acquisition.
Sales & Performance Analysis: Monitor category performance using key metrics (sales margins inventory turnover conversion rates etc.) and take data-driven actions to improve outcomes.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing sales supply chain and digital teams to enhance category visibility and customer experience.
Inventory & Demand Planning: Ensure optimal stock levels minimize stock-outs and manage demand forecasting effectively.
Customer Insights & Experience: Utilize customer feedback and behavioral data to improve product selection and overall category experience.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelors/Masters Degree with Specialization in Marketing Product Management or a related field.
Senior Professional with 15 years of experience in product management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
Excellent negotiation vendor management and relationship-building skills.
Hands-on experience with pricing strategies demand planning and inventory management.
Strong leadership and communication skills to drive cross-functional initiatives.
