The Role - Bring learning to life at Freightways

At Freightways we believe learning should be engaging impactful and run seamlessly. Were looking for an organised and energetic L&D Coordinator to make that happen someone who loves event planning creating memorable learning experiences and ensuring our Learning Hub training space runs like clockwork.

In this role youll be the go-to person for coordinating training events across the Freightways Group managing bookings and logistics and making sure our learning spaces are set up for success. Youll work closely with facilitators stakeholders and suppliers to ensure everything from catering to tech runs smoothly.

What youll do

  • Coordinate training events from start to finish. Planning schedules managing registrations sending communications and ensuring everything runs on time.
  • Manage the Learning Hub training room. Bookings set-up equipment catering and creating a welcoming environment for participants.
  • Liaise with internal and external facilitators trainers and suppliers to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
  • Keep training calendars and records up to date ensuring accurate attendance and feedback tracking.
  • Support the delivery of group-wide L&D initiatives leadership programmes and development events.
  • Work with stakeholders to create online learning modules and other learning programmes.
  • Update our Learning Management System (SuccessFactors) and support the business with basic LMS administration.
  • Assist with developing event materials such as agendas name tags and participant packs.
  • Contribute ideas for improving the learner experience and making our events even more impactful.

What youll bring

  • Proven event coordination or learning administration experience is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of Learning Systems is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple events and priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with people at all levels.
  • Technically Savvy. You understand systems use AI smartly and can utilise technology to make things happen. You can learn to use new technologies and systems quickly.
  • A service-focused approach with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to think on your feet solve problems quickly and keep calm under pressure.
