Opportunity:
Role: Permanent Role
Work Pattern: Full Time Monday to Friday (38 hours per week)
Location: Dandenong and Springvale
We are currently recruiting for a Service Coordinator position to manage our services in Dandenong and Springvale. This role will be a Permanent Position with an immediate start.

About the role:
As the Service Coordinator of our Dandenong Service and Springvale services you are responsible for overseeing the provision of high quality group and individualised supports in the community and within these sites to ensure personal outcomes are developed and achieved.
As a Service Coordinator your responsibilities will also include:
Supervising staff students and volunteers to provide meaningful outcomes for participants and ensure services are delivered in accordance with all relevant policies procedures and legislation.
Coordination of the Springvale and the Dandenong site to ensure continuity of service delivery for participants and carers including developing activity timetables rostering of staff overseeing activity sign offs on Supportability and general administration duties.
Being the first point of contact for staff/participants and families involved with the Services and successfully problem solving any issues that arise in an efficient and effective manner.
Selection Criteria:
- Current qualification in Leadership or Management and / or experience (desirable)
- Experience working with people with a disability from culturally diverse backgrounds.
- Experience with and knowledge regarding providing support to people with complex communication abilities and behaviours of concern.
- An understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and the disability sector.
- Demonstrated ability leading and mentoring teams
- Strong emotional intelligence and self awareness
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to converse with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Having a keen attention to detail and organisational skills
- Effective time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks
- Experience using Client Management Systems preferred
- Proficient in the use of computer software: Word Excel Internet and email
