Qualifications for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT):
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program (CoARC or CAAHP-accredited)
- Associate of Science (A.S.) degree required
Licensure/Certification:
(All certifications required upon hire unless otherwise noted)
- NBRC-RRT Registered Respiratory Therapist
- RCP Respiratory Care Professional license
- BLS Basic Life SupportorBLS-I Basic Life Support Instructor
- ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life SupportorACLS-I ACLS Instructor
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life SupportorPALS-I PALS Instructor
RRT Experience:
- 02 years of clinical experience
- Minimum of 6 months in critical care
