Job Description
For Euromaster in Deventer we are looking for you as a experienced Business Controller with great (international) career opportunities.
Your main tasks:
- Analysis of the commercial performance (deepdive in sales margin contribution per category or customer) and operational performance (costs productivity) of the company and its branches;
- Lead the Budgeting & Business Control processes;
- Lead improvement of the Business Controlling domain by working with the Business Support Controller and the CFO: review reporting rules (activity on contracts productivity stock...) implement quality controls (ex Reconcile the financial figures with operational data) develop standard reports automate tasks to spend more time on analysis;
- Support the Service Center by helping them in reading their results;
- Be a sparring partner for the directors and department managers;
- Support Sales and Procurement departments in the management of deferred rebates (controls and settlements);
- Participate actively in the month end closing process and yearly audit process: responsible for some balance sheet accounts (e.g. customer and supplier bonus provision) the review of the sales and margin;
- The Business Controller will have besides the contact on different levels within Euromaster NL also have contact with the direct colleague Business Support Controller (located in Bucharest) and the Shared Service Center in Romania;

Competencies:
- You have a HBO/WO diploma at least 5 years of experience within finance;
- Able to work in a dynamic environment (company in the retail industry) with people from different cultures (sales IT procurement);
- Self motivated and curious: able to know where to look for the information;
- Experience within an international organization is a plus;
- Good analytical skills;
- Business controlling knowledge: intermediate (budget process used to make links between events and financials able to write an executive summary);
- Accounting knowledge: basic (understanding Debit / Credit; able to read a P&L and a BS) intermediate a plus;
- IT: good command of Excel SAP a plus BI tools a plus (COGNOS);
- Good knowledge of the English and Dutch languages: written and spoken.

Euromaster Netherlands is operating 83 Service Centers employing more than 600 people in the Netherlands and is supported by a Shared Service Center located in Romania.
