Your Role
As a Junior Business Analyst you will play a key role in developing and implementing systems that support European customs processes. You will collaborate with experienced analysts developers and various stakeholders to translate complex legislation into practical digital solutions.
This is the perfect role for someone at the start of their career who enjoys interacting with people analyzing business processes and developing their skills at the intersection of business IT and regulation.
What Youll Do
- Analyze and translate European and national legislation into software requirements.
- Support the implementation of new customs systems and internal projects.
- Gather and structure requirements from different teams and stakeholders.
- Map processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with end-users to understand their needs and test solutions.
- Document requirements functional specifications and project progress.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to align expectations.
Qualifications :
What You Bring
You are analytical eager to learn and enjoy understanding and improving processes. You have some experience bridging business and IT and you are ready to grow within an international organization.
Additionally you bring:
- A Bachelors or HBO degree in Business IT Logistics Customs or a related field.
- 12 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Experience in project management and stakeholder communication or the motivation to develop these skills.
- Interest in customs processes or legislation experience is a plus but not required.
- A good understanding of software development or system implementation.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to make complex information clear and understandable.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch is a strong advantage. Another European language is a plus.
