Are you looking for #goodvibes We are looking for a Strategic Business Developer to strengthen our sales team helping our future clients to see the value and impact of our in-house built B2B software solutions.

Who are we

At VIBES we are developing software and technology to reduce sound and vibrations in products like (electric) cars 2-wheelers trains wind turbines and heat pumps. This has a big impact on sustainable product development of the future. With our solutions we predict vibrations by combining test- and simulation-based models helping our customers improve their design and development process. With our unique solutions our customers like BMW Hyundai Volvo and ASML acquire high-quality results in an efficient way. It allows them to work flexibly and intuitively when modifying analyzing and optimizing their product designs using our software. Next to that VIBES is active in scientific research and development for which we are internationally recognized.

In addition to that focus on technological innovation VIBES mainly consists of an enthusiastic and close-knit multicultural team! What you will do

We are a scale-up tech company with our roots in engineering and as we continue to grow were looking for a passionate and skilled Strategic Business Developer to join our team. Were committed to empowering companies in the industry with the latest technology and professional support to optimize their design and development processes. Your main responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and analyze competitors.

  • Proactively generate qualify and pursue new sales leads.

  • Build and maintain strong multi-level relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Present and position compelling value propositions to various levels including C-level executives.

  • Define and meet win strategy criteria collaborating with Solution Engineers and other subject matter experts to craft specific offerings and technical requirements.

  • Act as a lead in a team when presenting solutions and services to existing or prospective customers.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality proposals and customer satisfaction.

  • Drive and accelerate the sales pipeline from prospecting to closure.

  • Negotiate and close deals to achieve and exceed sales targets.

  • Contribute to overall revenue growth of the organization.

  • Prepare regular sales reports and participate in weekly performance reviews.

Job requirements

What do you bring

  • At least a Bachelors degree for example in International Business Administration Engineering Information Technology or a related field;

  • You have at least 5 years of working experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role preferably in B2B software or SaaS environments;

  • You have a proven track record in solution selling and a new business hunter mentality;

  • You will bring strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts in a relatable way for both technical and non-technical audiences on multiple levels;

  • Preferably you have experience in selling globally to technical development centers of (automotive) OEMs like BMW Volvo Hyundai etc. and tier-1 (automotive) suppliers;

  • A genuine interest in understanding customer pain points and a commitment to providing value-driven solutions;

  • You work structured and can break down complex problems;

  • You have a sharp eye for detail in everything you create;

  • Its a very big plus if you have (next to English) language proficiency in either French German Dutch Korean or Japanese;

  • You will make international travels multiple times a year.
