As part of the STX Groupone of the worlds leading environmental commodity traders some of our Budapest team supports the Groups operations across multiple markets. We are currently looking for a Trade Operations Coordinator to strengthen our operational backbone and support the dynamic growth of our business.

ABOUT OPERATIONS
The Operations function at Vertis encompassing Finance IT HR and Middle Office serves as the backbone of our organization. Working closely with all desks the team ensures accurate execution robust compliance and scalable infrastructure for new products and markets. As part of this team youll contribute directly to the day-to-day efficiency and control of our fast-paced financial environment.

ABOUT THE TEAM
Our Middle Office and Deliveries team thrives on precision and collaboration. We are committed to maintaining high standards while supporting STXs ambitious global expansion. Youll join a group that values clear communication ownership and operational excellence.


The team is looking for a Trade Operations Associate to strengthen the operational support of our business a critical administrative role.

We believe you will be great for this role if you have:

  • 0-2 years experience in operations preferably within energy commodities or financial services
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask across deadlines
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel including pivot tables and data handling
  • Solid communication skills and a proactive mindset
  • Familiarity with registries (e.g. Statnett) is a plus
  • Fluent English; Hungarian fluency preferred
  • Hungarian work permit required



The roles core responsibilities:

  • Certificate Delivery Coordination Monitor delivery schedules and follow up on overdue items; maintain strong collaboration with STX Middle Office Deliveries team
  • Registry Operations Manage imports and exports via internal automated registry systems (CIMs) ensuring volumes match internal positions and contracts
  • Inventory Accuracy Ensure stock files are consistently accurate and up to date; identify and escalate inventory breaks or mismatches
  • Exception Handling Investigate failed transactions in registry systems and take follow-up action; escalate unresolved issues
  • Contract and Trade Settlement Liaise with Contracts team to follow up on missing contractsupload proofs of delivery and ensure trades are settled accurately
  • Volume Reconciliation Support Assist in weekly reconciliation of import/export volumes between external registries and the back-office system (DH) ensuring all criteria are met
  • Communication Management Maintain shared inboxes and manage incoming operational requests to ensure timely follow-up
