Contract: Full Time Permanent HP2 Pay: $88252 - $105569 (Plus 11.5% Super) Health Professional Level 2
Contract: Full Time 3 month contract Pay: $108459 (Plus 11.5% Super) Health Professional Level 3
Location: The Canberra Hospital Garran

An exciting opportunity exists for a Respiratory Scientists to join a leading Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Department of a Government Health Service in Canberra providing high-quality inpatient and outpatient services. The role involves conducting routine and complex respiratory function assessments supporting quality management initiatives and contributing to research and professional development. We have two roles available one a full time permanent position and one Senior 3 month position.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform respiratory function tests for adult and paediatric patients including spirometry lung volume measurements and cardiopulmonary exercise testing.
Assist with research and quality management projects to enhance patient care.
Provide education and clinical supervision to staff and students.
Maintain and develop evidence-based patient-centered clinical practices.

What Were Looking For:

Bachelor of Science/Applied Science or equivalent
Minimum 12 months experience in respiratory physiology assessment
Strong technical skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Eligible for ANZSRS or ACCP membership (desirable)
