Your mission is to ensure operational accuracy while minimizing costs and delivering profitability to GE Healthcare.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop metrics and improvement activities to evaluate operations and results in accordance with business plans collaborating with relevant departments
- Project management to solve domestic and international transportation challenges
- Analyze logistics costs and implement optimization strategies
- Review and improve transportation modes and routes for supply chain efficiency
- Negotiate with and build relationships with transportation partners (carriers etc.)
- Manage and implement bidding processes for logistics services
- Select and evaluate new transportation providers through bidding processes together with operation team
- Establish logistics processes that comply with medical device safety standards and regulations
- Drive process improvements in collaboration with stakeholders within and outside the team
- Create regular logistics performance reports and present to management
- Evaluate and support implementation of digital and automation solutions in logistics
