SCHOOL OF CONTINUING EDUCATION
Established in 2000 the College of International Education (CIE) is a self-funded unit of the Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) offering full-time Associate Degree (AD) Higher Diploma (HD) and Undergraduate (UG) Honours Degree Programmes at the Shek Mun (Shatin) campus. It is a major education providing unit of the School of Continuing Education (SCE) one of the Faculties/Schools of HKBU. CIE currently enrolls over 3500 students and is committed to the Universitys mission of providing quality whole-person higher education with a Christian heritage. English is used as the medium of instruction at the are now invited for the following position:
Programme Officer (Ref. No.: )
The appointee will provide coordination and administrative support for the Associate Degree and Higher Diploma Programmes of the College of International Education (CIE) at the Shek Mun (Shatin) campus. Major duties include admissions and interviews outreach and promotion committee work and reporting College events system management staff supervision and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A bachelors degree with at least one year of relevant work experience;
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (bothCantonese and Putonghua);
- Effective communication organisational and problem-solving skills;
- Competence in computer applications(e.g. Word Excel PowerPoint and Chinese word processing);
- Ability to multitask under tight schedules; and
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
The initial appointment for the above post will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
