Our client is a long established City Centre based firm of Chartered Accountants. For over 80 years we have been providing a broad range of services and business solutions to select Irish and multi-national clients.We currently have an open position for a Qualified Accountant who has a minimum of 3 years experience working in a small or medium-sized Irish Accounting practice.The Candidate profile- Qualified Accountant (ACA ACCA CPA) trained in a practice environment and with a minimum of 3 years experience in an Irish Accounting firm dealing with all areas of general practice
- Experience in working with a portfolio of clientsExperience in leading Audit assignments including audit team management file reviews and reporting on all types of assignments both at Company and Group level
- Strong technical knowledge and an awareness of current issues/developments in the profession experience of dealing with Irish and UK Company law and Tax law an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Experience with and willingness to manage and train junior staff membersStrong IT literacy and knowledge of MS Office and a range of accounting packages preferably Relate suite Xero Sage50 etc
- Willing to travel with short/medium term stays either in Ireland UK or further afield
- Ability to drive and access to a car would be a distinct advantage

- Providing services in areas such as audit taxation accountancy and business advisory
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements
- Responsibility for managing the successful completion of audit assignments for Partner review
- Researching and resolving technical queries from clients
- Assist in the training of junior staff
- Working on ad-hoc assignments from time to time
