Job Summary

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in healthcare recruitment for both domestic and overseas candidates across hospitals nursing homes home care and community care settings.

We are currently hiring Senior Radiographer/Sonographer for a reputed hospital in Dublin Ireland.

Permanent Full Time

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations across general obstetric abdominal vascular and MSK specialties (as applicable).

  • Ensure accurate image acquisition interpretation and reporting within scope of practice.

  • Work autonomously while adhering to clinical protocols and professional standards.

  • Prioritise and manage patient caseload efficiently to ensure timely service delivery.

  • Support supervise and mentor junior radiographers students and new staff.

  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists clinicians nurses and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Maintain high standards of patient care comfort dignity and safety.

  • Ensure proper use maintenance and quality assurance of ultrasound and radiology equipment.

  • Participate in departmental audits quality improvement initiatives and service development.

  • Contribute to protocol development and implementation of best practices.

  • Manage challenging clinical situations and make appropriate professional judgements.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in line with hospital and regulatory standards.

  • Ensure compliance with CORU standards radiation safety regulations and hospital policies.

  • Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated with current practices.




  • Requirements

    • Diploma of the College of Radiographers (Diagnostic) or a Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) in Diagnostic Radiography.

    • CORU registration.

    • Recognised post-graduate qualification in Ultrasound.

    • Minimum of three years post-graduate experience in Radiography.

    • Minimum of three years post-graduate experience in Ultrasound.

    • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with Radiographers and multidisciplinary teams.

    • Ability to work independently in Ultrasound and other Radiology modalities.

    • Vascular ultrasound experience.

    Desirable Criteria

    • Interest in quality improvement initiatives within the Ultrasound service.

    • MSK ultrasound experience.

    • Training in an additional modality (MRI CT or PET).

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure.

    • Ability to engage professionally with staff and management at all organisational levels.

    • Evidence of continuous professional development.

    • Strong sense of responsibility and demonstrated individual initiative.
