Business Segment Overview

Corporate: Engage in a deep variety of business-critical activities that keep our company running efficiently. From strategic marketing and financial management to human resources and operational oversight youll have the opportunity to optimize processes and implement game-changing policies

Job purpose:

Under the Central Bank (Individual Accountability Framework) Act 2023 the individual has overall responsibility for managing the operation of the firms finance and client asset oversight. They will be responsible for the firms compliance with financial and the client asset regulations.

Responsibilities

Financial - Manage and develop P&L reporting BS and working capital management FP&A KPI reporting Budgeting and Forecasting Process Improvement and maximising benefit from new system implementation.

Treasury Management- Manage cash flow and optimize working capital. Oversee treasury operations including banking relationships investments and insurance. Manage debt and equity financing activities.

Client Assets Develop the SDIs Client Asset Oversight framework and oversee the operational effectiveness of StoneX Digital EMEAs systems and controls that are designed to achieve compliance with the CBI Client Asset Requirements (CAR).

Strategic Planning- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans. Provide financial analysis and guidance for financial forecasts and regulatory reporting

Qualifications

Proven track record working in similar roles within the financial services industry.

  • NFQ Level 8 Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. business accounting finance economics law etc.)
  • Senior Management experience working with similar teams (Client Asset Oversight Regulatory Reporting etc.)
  • Excellent Regulatory experience
  • Ideally holding an accounting qualification (e.g. ACA ACCA etc)

As this position is leading out Finance and Client Asset Oversight within SDI you will need to have strong leadership skills with a strong background in the financial services industry in similar roles.

Stakeholder management will be a huge part of this role so you will require excellent communication skills to be able to provide clear verbal and/or written communications to board members regulators staff clients and other senior stakeholders.
