What Were Looking For: Icon Water is looking for a Logistics Officer who will work as part of the Infrastructure Reliability & Performance Branch within the Infrastructure Services Group.

This role has responsibility for managing stock levels receiving and dispatching goods and maintaining accurate inventory levels. This role ensures the efficient operation of Icon Water stores and supports the overall logistics and supply chain functions.

About this role: Key responsibilities of the role include the ability to deliver friendly responsive and efficient customer service while undertaking the following key responsibilities:

  • Receiving and scanning goods and checking against orders and inspecting for damage.
  • Moving goods around a store including moving heavy pallets and goods using a forklift.
  • Picking goods from shelves and recording their movements.
  • Packing and sending orders to customers and delivery of goods to the teams in the field.
  • Conduct stock counts and identify/report discrepancies and conduct and assist with investigations of inventories.
  • Provide input to the development of an optimised stores strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide input to optimising maximum and minimum stores inventories & quantities.
  • Work jointly and cooperate with peers and other staff to assist in achieving branch business plan goals and objectives.

Who we are looking for: Were seeking a dedicated individual who has a Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations (Warehousing operations) TLI30321 and who holds:

  • A Forklift licence.
  • Sufficient physical fitness for the role.
  • Broad knowledge/experience in all aspects of receipting warehousing issuing and distribution processes within a contemporary warehousing environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of computerised inventory systems.
  • Competent in the use and operation of modern technology including Microsoft Office applications Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook.
  • Proficient literacy numeracy and data management skills.
