Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering our packages safely and efficiently to our customers. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to navigate routes effectively while adhering to all traffic regulations.
Pay
121.50 141.50/day (Plus. VAT) Paid Weekly - higher rate includes team bonus
145.80 168/day (Inc. VAT) Paid Weekly
Potential weekly earnings: 1008 (based on VAT registration & bonus achieved)
Your Day-to-Day
- Load your van and deliver parcels along pre-planned optimised routes
- Use handheld delivery technology for fast efficient drops
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to driving safety and customer service.
- Represent Y Logistics with professionalism and great customer service
Requirements
- Full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points no IN DR DD DU or TT codes)
- Ability to lift parcels up to 23kg
- Clear background check & drug/alcohol screening
