Factory Manager Raw Cashew Processing
Lagos Nigeria
Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs): 1. Production Efficiency & Yield-
Achieve targeted Kernel Out-Turn Ratio (KOR) and recovery percentage from Raw Cashew Nuts (RCNs).

Minimize wastage breakage and processing losses.

Ensure daily weekly and monthly production targets are consistently met.

Ensure final cashew kernels meet required grades (WW SW LP SP etc.) and export quality standards.

Maintain zero major customer complaints or rejections.
-
Ensure full compliance with food safety standards and certifications such as HACCP ISO FSSC etc.
-
Maintain processing cost per kg within approved budget norms.
-
Optimize labor productivity (output per worker per day).
-
Reduce downtime and maximize machine utilization.
-
Monitor and control utility consumption (electricity water fuel etc.).
-
Monitor and maintain attendance and productivity benchmarks.
-
Minimize worker attrition and absenteeism.
-
Ensure zero major accidents and 100% compliance with workplace safety regulations.

Maintain optimum inventory levels of raw cashew nuts semi-processed goods and packing materials.
-
Minimize losses due to spoilage pilferage or mismanagement.
-
Ensure timely dispatch of finished goods per customer and export schedules.

Ensure 100% compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (e.g. labor laws environmental standards export regulations).

Prepare and submit timely MIS reports covering production quality yield and cost metrics.

Drive process improvements aimed at yield enhancement and cost reduction.

Promote the adoption of automation and technology upgrades.

Explore and develop value-added cashew products in line with company strategy.
