Job Description
Our client isa reputable Chinese Financial Institution.Due to their business expansion they are now looking for a legal counsel to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional legal advice on banking activities including loans capital markets and transactions.
- Support legal documentation reviewand deal transactions related advisory
- Manage the relationships with external counsels
- Review and negotiate contracts in both English and Chinese languages
- Liaise with regulators on queries from a legal perspective
- Ensure strict compliance with law and regulatory requirements
- Lead ad hoc projects with the business
Requirements:
- 5 plus years PQE experience as a HK qualified lawyer in private practice or in-house financial institutions.
- Good understanding on regulatory requirements (Company Ordinance and SFC Ordinance)
- Knowledge of overseas regulations (US and PRC)
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
