Job Summary (UI/UX Analyst)
- Establishes and directs the overall application look feel and user experience.
- Designs communicates and executes all user interface screens based on business requirements.
- Collaborates with Business Analyst and Technical Lead to deliver solutions meeting customer needs.
- Understands project scope requirements and ensures usability scalability and functionality.
- Adheres to project schedules and actively participates in requirement gathering.
- Analyzes existing business processes and systems to develop comprehensive interface designs.
- Conducts user interviews research observations and usability testing.
- Develops personas user flows journey maps and storyboards as required.
- Facilitates regular design meetings and brainstorming sessions with stakeholders.
- Examines and improves user flows and addresses usability pain points.
- Leads visual design usability and accessibility efforts for the product.
- Creates sketches wireframes mockups and high-fidelity prototypes in compliance with standards (SOM and ADA).
- Reviews designs with team members for business and technical feasibility.
- Provides resources and guidance on UI/UX best practices and ADA remediation to the development team.
- Ensures conformance to organizational applications and site standards.
- Performs accessibility testing to meet ADA requirements.
- Facilitates usability tests and iterates designs based on user feedback.
- Advises developers on accessibility and vulnerability remediation.
- Serves as liaison with DTMB Center for Shared Solutions (CSS) eMichigan team.
- Requires 3 5 years of UI design and user research experience.
- Requires education or certification in a related field and portfolio submission.
- Experience with design and accessibility standards (WCAG) preferred.
- Experience in usability and ADA testing preferred.
