Job Description
This position will provide strategic medical leadership for aesthetic portfolio with both marketed and late-stage development product.
Develop country level aesthetic medical education plans and ensure strategic alignment.
Work strategically and operationally to contribute valuable strategic input and align with both global medical education plans and to country commercial plans.
Build and maintain a strong local aesthetic MA team:
Recruit retain and mentor high potential employees in the aesthetic medical affairs team ensuring that a talent pool exists for a dynamic and changing organization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic and Scientific Leadership
Lead and build country aesthetic portfolio medical education strategy and actively engage with the global medical functions to ensure that country level priorities and needs.
Partner with country commercial team to develop commercial plans to ensure continued success and competitive leadership of Galderma products.
Medical Education
Lead to build Galderma medical education platform for the education training and professional development of experts in aesthetic medicine.
Provide exceptional professional oversight (clinical/medical and training) of all content developed for training & learning.
Act as speaker for the disease area and scientific knowledge of Galderma portfolio in medical education events.
External KOL/Medical Society Engagement
Interact with top KOLs or healthcare decision makers at scientific meetings and other forums from Galderma aesthetic portfolio perspective.
When needed serve as a resource for scientific expert to provide inputs on external medical society collaboration.
Team Management
Recruit and retain a team of high performing professionals providing coaching and leadership to enable clear implementation that aligned with strategy priority.
Develop and execute an aligned country medical plan with clear KPIs milestones and deliverables for aesthetic medical team;
Ensure aesthetic MA team executes all plans with strict adherence to applicable company standards and procedures and any country legislations or regulations maintaining high medical and ethical standards in all activities;
Maintain and monitor the medical education plan reporting and budget expenditures for aesthetic medical team.
Skills & Qualifications
Master of clinical medicine pharmaceutical or biotechnology as minimum;
At least 10-year experience in pharmaceutical medical affairs especially like Therapeutic Area head Medical Affairs Manager etc.
Plus at least 5-year experience as team leader in pharmaceutical medical affairs;
Demonstrated understanding of drug development deep practical knowledge of aesthetic area (Toxin A and HA Fillers) and commercialization processes;
Recent experience in launching new products and portfolio management;
Demonstrated ability to the development and implementation of winning strategies for the company overall with high integrity and strong work ethic;
Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively in local language and English written and verbal;
Initiating and maintaining strategic relationships with stakeholders and potential partners inside and outside the organization;
Demonstrated problem solving skills - including taking ownership to ensure timely resolution a strong sense of urgency keen attention to detail must be focused and able to meet tight timetables
Establishing systems and processes to attract develop engage and retain talented individuals;
Providing feedback instruction and planning and supporting the development of individual skills and abilities
Travel Frequency: Travel domestically and internationally as min. 20% of time
