Senior Test Automation Engineer

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer you will be a key player in ensuring product quality across multiple projects. Youll design test strategies lead automation efforts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver stable scalable and secure solutions. This role combines technical excellence analytical thinking and leadership in shaping testing processes for large and complex systems.

Responsibilities:

Test Strategy & Planning

• Define testing strategy and oversee planning of test activities across projects.
• Develop detailed test plans test cases and design test environments.

Test Execution & Automation

• Implement execute and debug automated and manual test cases.
• Set up test management tools for new projects and ensure their effective use.
• Drive automation initiatives with Playwright or equivalent frameworks.

Quality Assurance & Reporting

• Validate document and report on testing outcomes and progress.
• Monitor test results analyze system quality and present trends to stakeholders.
• Track defects and ensure proper documentation of test results.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with analysts architects developers and service desk teams.
• Ensure testability of system designs and contribute to overall quality assurance.

Requirements:

Technical Expertise

• 5 years of IT experience and at least 4 years in test automation roles.
• Strong knowledge of unit integration functional performance and regression testing.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans.
• Proficiency in one programming language: Python JavaScript TypeScript or VBS.
• Experience in SQL query writing and database validation.

Leadership & Process

• ISTQB Advanced or equivalent internationally recognized certification.
• Recognized English language certificate (minimum B2 level CEFR).
• Experience leading testing in complex projects.
• Skilled in designing and setting up test environments.
• Knowledge of SDLC and ability to align testing practices accordingly.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to produce high-quality documentation and reports in English.
