Job Description
Were currently looking for skilled Groundworkers specialising in External Works to join our team. At Coinford we deliver top-tier groundwork and concrete frame solutions across the UK.
What Youll Be Doing (Essential Role Requirements):
Reading and interpreting site drawings and relevant documentation
Carrying out external works including:
Kerb laying
Edgings
Slab laying
Block paving
Hard and soft landscaping
Ensuring correct materials and techniques are used for all external works activities including road make-up and formation
Competently operating trench boxes drag boxes and manhole boxes when required for external connections
Conducting daily pre-start safety checks on tools and plant reporting any servicing or maintenance needs
Working safely around live services with a good understanding of service avoidance techniques
Desirable Skills & Experience:
Valid CPCS/NPORS tickets for equipment such as:
Telehandlers
Dumpers
Rollers
Experienced working gangs/teams highly sought after for this role
General Expectations:
Experience in skilled external groundworks
Valid CSCS card
Reliable and punctual
Able to work collaboratively with other trades and site operatives to help deliver projects on time
Must have the right to work in the UK
