Job Description

Job Title: Sr. Spec Procurement

Job Schedule: 9/80 Employees work 9 out of every 14 days totaling 80 hours worked and have every other Friday off

Job Description:

We are seeking a Sr Specialist Procurement Analyst to join our team in Canoga Park CA. The Analyst will be monitoring assessing and reporting on segment wide indirect procurement coordinating with Stakeholders and providing indirect purchase forecasts.

Essential Functions:

50% - Manage PO execution liaising with CHQ on behalf of AR segment stakeholders and suppliers in order to execute POs in timely fashion. Identify constraints that are driving delays in payments and proactively mitigate barriers that would prevent supplier payments. Requires interface with other Supply Chain leaders and team members Global Business Services Finance and Operations across the enterprise.

20% - Provide proactive analysis and reporting on the indirect procurement transactions in Ariba. Monitor transactions in Ariba to assess process duration such as PO cycle time and provide necessary data to Supply Chain leadership so that intelligent business decisions can be made. This position includes the ability to provide review/analysis to ensure data communicated is accurate and in a format conducive for deep dive analysis. Develop the appropriate metrics to monitor system and sub system health.

20% - Supporting special projects related to continuous improvement within the Supply Chain organization through data collection and analysis. Triage work stops

10% - Maintain document integrity and traceability by establishing and maintaining well-organized electronic filing systems and documentation.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Business Administration Mathematics or related field with minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Tools.
  • Experience using Business Intelligence Software.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lean 6Sigma Root Cause Analysis.
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems a plus.
