In this role you will be at the heart of large-scale EPC programs driving procurement strategies that ensure cost efficiency on-time delivery and uncompromising quality. How Youll Make an Impact
- Lead end-to-end tender and project procurement for EPC programs.
- Develop sourcing strategies and supplier lists aligned with bid requirements.
- Issue RFIs/RFQs and perform techno-commercial evaluations with engineering teams.
- Build and own the Project Procurement Plan (PPP) and procurement schedule.
- Anticipate and mitigate delivery risks through proactive planning and recovery paths.
- Support negotiations on pricing warranties and commercial terms with suppliers.
- Drive expediting plans to achieve on-time delivery for critical-path equipment.
- Publish procurement dashboards and risk heatmaps for project visibility.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.
Your Background
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Engineering or related field.
- 3 years of experience in procurement within project environments (EPC utilities industrial).
- Proven track record managing large-scale procurement plans and driving OTD 95%.
- Hands-on experience with supplier quality processes and documentation requirements.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) scheduling tools (P6/MS Project) and analytics platforms.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in a fast-paced environment.
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
