Technical Portfolio Manager Cocoa
An exciting opportunity with global food & beverage company.
Location: Singapore

Overview of the role
This role is responsible for the technical support of cocoa ingredient product lines as produced in Asia to support the positioning of the global cocoa brands.
Job responsibilities:
- Coordination and execution of cocoa powder application performance and functionality (development of USPs) of new and existing cocoa ingredients.
- Being single point of contact for new ingredient functionality during scale up and commercialization; where required conduct trials alongside CSC category experts to achieve seamless delivery.
- Organization of internal and external training programs/seminars for cocoa ingredients to the companys teams and customers.
- Maintains knowledge of companys cocoa ingredients up to date and keeps contact with other locations around the globe.
- Collects particularly technical information about competitors and competitors-products and keeps it sufficient and accessible for the IQFS community.
Job requirements:
- Bachelors or masters degree in food technology or similar discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in cocoa ingredient characteristics and functionality in-depth understanding of cocoa processing and application performance.
- Knowledge of cocoa quality parameters methods and quality standards linked to the companys customers expectations.
- Excellent sensory skills and 5 years of experience in color assessment.
- Good project- and time management skills being able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Has integrity is inclusive and treats internal and external stakeholders with respect.
- Excellent communication and social skills. Listens well. Fun to work with and open minded.
- Proficient in spoken and written English and any other Asian languages will be an advantage.
- This position requires travelling (30%).
