Join our Home Lending Modelling team to leverage your data science expertise in building and analyzing ML/AI products and solutions.
Job Summary:
As a Data Scientist VP on the Home Lending Modelling team youll join an organization that builds implements tests and analyzes ML/AI products & solutions. Your ability to understand data relationships and take ownership of data-driven tasks will be key to your success. Youll also develop approaches and/or processes to accomplish goals with an emphasis on A/B testing & advanced analytics. Youll utilize strong communication skills to effectively operate in direct collaboration with key stakeholders across functions and lines-of-business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design implement and analyze A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of various strategies initiatives and ML/AI models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing opportunities and develop hypotheses.
- Ensure rigorous statistical analysis and interpretation of test results to inform business decisions.
- Leverage a variety of statistical and mathematical techniques and algorithms to analyze datasets and solve complex business problems.
- Develop presentations to summarize and communicate key messages to senior management sponsors and colleagues.
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:
- 5 years of experience working in an A/B testing and/or analytical role.
- MS degree in a related field such as Data Science Applied Mathematics Statistics Engineering Economics or similar STEM discipline.
- Experience using statistical programming languages (Python R) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
- Practical understanding of ML/AI.
- Adept at explaining and converting complex concepts into digestible information for audiences at various levels of the business.
- Strong storytelling capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:
- Functional industry experience in finance operations sales marketing credit/risk or technology.
- Knowledge of the mortgage industry.
