Post-doctoral Fellowin theDivision of Neurology of the Department of MedicineSchool of Clinical Medicine(Ref.: 532562)

Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in collaborative multi-omic research projects relating to gut microbiota and vascular and brain health
- Involve in the design implementation and testing of statistical and AI software for analysing large healthcare-related data including data from electronic health records medical images and sensor data from wearable devices
- Responsible for writing up results training and supervising students and junior staff preparing manuscripts drafting and submitting competitive internal and external grants
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A Ph.D. degree with a strong research background in bioinformatics epidemiology biostatistics genomics big data analytics or artificial intelligence analytics
- Be familiar with conducting analysis with different types of data including metagenomics sequencing genomics proteomics and metabolomics data
- A good command of written and spoken English
- Strong communication skills
- A demonstrated track record of publishing academic research papers
- Self-motivated hardworking and able to work well in an interdisciplinary team
