Job Description

We are currently recruiting a Senior Research Fellow to join the laboratory of Professor Lim Kah Leong at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) a joint medical school between Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Imperial College London.

The candidate will be leading a project that seeks to develop human umbilical cord-lining derived induced pluripotent stem cells (CLiPS) as a universal source of cells for regenerative medicine for Parkinsons Disease.

Job Requirements

  • PhD in Biological Sciences or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience as research fellow in the field of neuroscience/ neurobiology
  • Deep knowledge and interest in neuroscience and regenerative medicine.
  • Strong research experience and relevant skill sets in biomedical sciences (genomics cell biology molecular biology animal handling etc.).
  • Experience in non-human primate studies is preferred.
  • Experience in mentoring and training junior researchers.
  • Highly motivated and independent researcher with enthusiasm for research.
  • Strong team player with excellent organizational communication and time management skills
  • Strong motivation and leadership in pursuing challenging scientific questions.
