Directly advise the Vice President-Business Support Services on risk management issues lead the risk management organization and support operations planning and execution. Advise and assist the PT-FI Smelting and Refining team in and FCX corporate staff on special projects in the risk management arena as required. Analyze the need for conceive develop and plan resources for the overall risk management structure of PT Freeport Indonesias Smelting and Refining Operations. Assist in the development and resource planning to address contingencies in the areas of civil disturbance terrorist activities industrial relations disturbances industrial security loss control and natural disaster planning. Assist in the formulation of strategy and as a liaison between PTFI Smelting and Refining Operations and regional government security forces. Act as a key member of the management team and liaise with operational social/local development Human Resources Legal Global Supply Marketing Transportation and other groups as required.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Key leader technical expert and advisor to the VP-Business Support Services and the PT-FI Smelter Operation on risk management systems and operations.
2. Act as part of the management team along with key operational Human Resources Legal Community Relations and Safety and Emergency Response leaders to assess mitigate and manage risk across the operation.
3. Execute risk management functions based on owner management and leadership and a contracted guard force. Ensure planning for adequate human resources common equipment personal equipment and on-going maintenance of physical assets.
4. Based on guidance develop and implement Risk Mitigation procedures on risk management related matters including prevention of fraud theft business interruption unrest or other issues affecting the safety and security of the work force physical assets business continuity and reputational issues.
5. Engage and advise key stakeholders on risk mitigation measures and be the expert on integration of designed security measures and operational procedures and protocols.
6. Conduct effective liaison and coordination with groups including police military and civilian government leaders (police military and political). Ensure compliance of FCPA Voluntary Principles to Security and Human rights and accepted international protocols in the security arena.
7. Promote security awareness within company leadership and ensure integration of security planning in business processes. Plan for emergency preparedness contingencies and function as an advisor to the crisis management team as required.
9. Maintain public relations with the Freeport-McMoRan community select government personnel (GoI and others) and local leaders.
