Job Description

Job Summary

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance repair and servicing of machinery and equipment used in jewelry manufacturing. The role involves managing a small team ensuring minimal downtime and implementing preventive maintenance strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair all machinery used in the diamond and gold jewelry production process.

Implement preventive maintenance schedules to avoid unplanned breakdowns.

Diagnose and troubleshoot machine issues and ensure timely resolution.

Supervise and guide 2 Maintenance Executives for day-to-day maintenance tasks.

Maintain records of repairs service logs spare parts inventory and equipment performance.

Coordinate with vendors and service providers for machine servicing and parts procurement.

Ensure all machines comply with safety and compliance standards.

Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in machinery maintenance within a manufacturing/factory environment (experience in jewellery or precision manufacturing preferred).

Strong knowledge of machinery used in jewellery making (e.g. casting machines CNC laser machines polishing equipment etc.).

Hands-on experience with preventive and breakdown maintenance.

Ability to lead a small team and coordinate efficiently.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Familiarity with maintenance logs and reporting systems.

Willingness to work in Shiravane Nerul (Navi Mumbai).

Preferred Qualifications:

Diploma or ITI in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.

Prior experience in the jewellery manufacturing industry is a strong advantage.
