Job Summary:
The Assistant Shop Manager will assist the shop manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the store. This includes overseeing sales customer service inventory management staff training and administrative tasks. The assistant manager will work closely with the shop manager to ensure the store meets its goals and provides excellent service to customers.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the store
Oversee sales customer service and inventory management
Train staff on product knowledge selling techniques and customer service skills
Handle administrative tasks such as payroll scheduling and reporting
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase sales
Ensure the store meets health and safety standards
Communicate with head office for support and guidance
Job Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in business administration or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in retail management
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office software
Knowledge of retail management practices and principles
Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities
Experience in managing a team of employees
