As an Accountant here at Honeywell you will play a crucial role in driving financial analysis and providing strategic insights to support the growth and success of our Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS) business unit. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data identifying trends and making recommendations to optimize operational efficiency and drive profitability.
Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the financial strategy and decision-making process within the ESS business unit. You will report directly to our Finance Manager and youll work out of our Chonburi Thailand this role you will impact the financial performance and growth of the ESS business unit by providing valuable insights and recommendations based on your financial analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute financial strategies optimize resource allocation and drive cost-saving initiatives.
In October 2024 Honeywellannounced the spin-offof our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role dedicated to the Advanced Materials business will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform month-end closing responsibilities including preparing journal entries ensuring monthly transactions are correctly recorded analyzing and reporting spend production credits
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly develop action plans and lead resolution on accounts
- Assist department managers in understanding monthly spend and developing monthly weekly and forecasts
- Maintain strong internal control environment through regular inventory monitoring and verification of policy adherence
- Support Revenue Department and tax requests as needed
- Support Fixed Asset Accounting and Capital Investment requests as needed
- Assist in resolution of AP issues and facilitate vendor payments
- Monitor and report on key financial metrics to track business performance.
- Special projects ad hoc analysis and other duties as required
Qualifications
MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting or related roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field.
WE VALUE
- Masters degree in Finance Accounting or a related field.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in Excel financial modeling and data analysis.
- Experience with SAP.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
