Quest () is Houstons Leading Executive Search Firm supporting Oil and Gas Industrial Technology Aerospace.
We are seeking a Director of EHST to lead a dedicated Safety Services Business Unit that delivers Environmental Health Safety and Training (EHST) solutions directly into the industrial market including downstream petrochemical oil & gas and EPC sectors. This is a P&L leadership role responsible for building scaling and commercializing EHST services as a revenue-generating business line not just internal compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the EHST Services Division as a strategic business unit with full P&L ownership.
- Champion external delivery of safety services across client sites projects and facilities.
- Drive M&A opportunities to expand market share and service capabilities.
- Develop scalable frameworks for safety staffing training industrial hygiene rescue medical and compliance services.
- Partner with executive leadership sales and operations to identify market opportunities and deliver tailored solutions.
- Build and mentor a high-performing EHST team; drive a culture of safety accountability and innovation.
Qualifications
- 10 years of leadership experience in EH&S industrial services or related sectors.
- Proven success leading external safety service delivery (contract safety training rescue or compliance).
- Strong business acumen; track record of P&L ownership and growth strategy execution.
- M&A experience (evaluation integration or scaling acquired service lines) strongly preferred.
- CSP and MBA highly desired.
- Exceptional leadership client engagement and communication skills.
