ASSYST is seeking a skilled Informatica Administrator to support the operations administration and troubleshooting of complex enterprise systems for our client in Baltimore Maryland.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Informatica PowerCenter Control-M (or equivalent) and enterprise application management in AWS environments. This role requires hands-on expertise in system operations batch processing troubleshooting and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to ensure system stability performance and compliance with organizational standards.
Job Location: Baltimore Maryland. (Hybrid Role.)
Key Responsibilities
Install configure and manage Informatica PowerCenter and its components (mappings workflows jobs and ETL processes).
Assess and manage Informatica upgrades and their impact on existing applications.
Identify and troubleshoot system outages installation issues and code errors across Informatica Control-M JBoss Tomcat and AWS-hosted applications.
Manage batch operations using Control-M (or equivalent) including batch creation scheduling calendars and daily monitoring of critical jobs.
Restore Informatica PowerCenter services and manage user access and governance controls.
Configure maintain and troubleshoot RedHat JBoss Fuse Apache and Tomcat HTTP servers.
Perform log analysis and system troubleshooting using Splunk and application logs.
Configure deploy and validate SSL certificates and PGP keys.
Read enhance and maintain automation scripts for application batch and web services.
Provide recommendations risk mitigation strategies and escalation support for complex system issues.
Support configuration management and CI/CD automation using Jenkins.
Manage monitor and configure Splunk for application and system monitoring.
Ensure compliance with change management standards during releases and deployments.
Perform routine system maintenance (patching performance tuning backups).
Support batch executions during days evenings weekends and holidays as required.
Conduct capacity and scalability planning for enterprise systems.
Manage incident and change processes using JIRA Service Desk.
Participate in rotation shift schedules for production support.
Adhere to organizational security change control and PMO processes.
Minimum Qualifications
3 years in Informatica PowerCenter operations administration or troubleshooting.
3 years as a Batch Operator using Control-M (or equivalent).
2 years working with PostgreSQL (or equivalent relational databases).
Experience in health insurance marketplace healthcare or health and human services domains.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot in complex system environments.
Hands-on experience with application and batch integrations.
Proficiency with database and SQL functions.
Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
Preferred Skills
5 years supporting enterprise-scale systems operations.
5 years managing batch operations in large-scale enterprise environments.
3 years troubleshooting JBoss/Tomcat applications running in AWS.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide actionable recommendations.
Advanced experience with Control-M (or equivalent batch processing tools).
Experience managing web-based systems hosted on AWS.
Familiarity with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) operations.
Experience working within Project Management Office (PMO) processes policies and methodologies.
