Youll work on automation observability performance tuning and security to make sure our platform is reliable and ready for mission-critical workloads.
- Deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters on-premises at enterprise scale.
- Automate cluster lifecycle and application management with Terraform Helm and GitOps tools.
- Tune clusters for performance on bare-metal hardware (CPU memory and networking).
- Implement Kubernetes security best practices (RBAC network policies pod security).
- Build monitoring and alerting with Prometheus Grafana and logging stacks.
- Contribute to incident response and postmortems helping improve reliability over time.
- 5 years of experience in infrastructure platform engineering or SRE roles.
- Strong hands-on experience runningKubernetes on-premises in production environments.
- Good knowledge of Linux systems networking and container runtimes.
- Familiarity with Terraform Helm Argo CD or similar automation/GitOps tools.
- Experience with observability tools like Prometheus Grafana or ELK/EFK.
- Comfortable troubleshooting and tuning Kubernetes clusters.
- Experience integrating Kubernetes with OpenStack.
- Familiarity with Rancher and Rancher add-ons (Fleet Longhorn CIS Scanning).
- Knowledge of compliance-driven environments (PCI SOC2 FedRAMP).
- Kubernetes certifications (CKA CKS or similar).
You will define how we build and run Kubernetes at scalefrom bare metal to secure observable production clusters. As a key leader bridging the Platform and Infrastructure orgs youll shape the automation security and performance foundation that all of engineering builds on.
