Job Description
- Design implement and maintain cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions GitLab CI Jenkins ArgoCD) for efficient and secure software delivery.
- Automate deployment scaling and management of containerized applications using Kubernetes Helm and Docker.
- Ensure observability through centralized logging monitoring and alerting using tools like Prometheus Grafana Loki ELK Datadog etc.
- Implement and enforce security best practices across cloud infrastructure and deployment processes including secret management IAM policies and network security.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to define DevSecOps practices and support staging QA and production environments.
- Lead incident response root cause analysis and continuous improvement for system reliability and availability (SLA/SLOs).
- Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to improve developer experience and platform efficiency.
- Mentor junior DevOps engineers and contribute to team development and knowledge sharing.
- 5 years of experience in DevOps Site Reliability Engineering or related roles.
- Proven experience with cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS or other major cloud providers).
- Expertise in Kubernetes administration and container orchestration.
- Strong experience with Terraform Ansible or similar automation tools.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Proficient in scripting languages (e.g. Bash Python Go).
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with monitoring logging and alerting tools.
- Experience with secret management (e.g. Vault AWS Secrets Manager).
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud setups.
- Familiarity with security compliance standards (e.g. SOC 2 ISO 27001).
- Experience with cost monitoring and optimization in cloud environments.
- Knowledge of service mesh (e.g. Istio) and API gateways.
- Contributions to open source projects or DevOps communities.
