At PwC our people in business application consulting specialise in consulting services for a variety of business applications helping clients optimise operational efficiency. These individuals analyse client needs implement software solutions and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives.
As a business application consulting generalist at PwC you will provide consulting services for a wide range of business applications. You will leverage a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis implementation training and support.

Your role is crucial in driving business growth shaping the direction of client engagements and mentoring the next generation of leaders. - Good experience in software industry working in end-to-end global delivery model environment
- Experienced in organizing and directing large client vendors on-shore and off-shore teams within timelines and budgets.
- Ability to conduct walkthroughs workshops and meetings involving various business stakeholders.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships able to comfortably converse with all facets in the clients organization.
- Hands on experience in driving RFI / RFP and other proposal activities
- Excellent solution evaluation skills. Drive technology solutions from a holistic and business value perspective.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Experience in Coaching and Mentoring including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities
- Well versed with Planning for large-scale customization implementations design and managing custom application development projects Setup and Configuration of Core Guidewire package Implementation from offshore with Onshore coordination
- Experience in Agile SCRUM & SAFe methodology.
- Identifying managing resolving and mitigating key risks and issues impacting the project delivery.
- Possessing prior experience in programing / software development is highly desirable.
- Managing multiple projects teams simultaneously and proven Track record of coaching and developing scrum teams.
- Leveraging experience in all phases (development execution and transition) of project delivery; Utilizing the Knowledge of Statement of Work (SOW) and Change Order constructs to establish work performed is in scope and at the agreed upon level.
- Developing multi-level relationships with client and team members to establish project delivery goals are met as planned.
Additional skills:
- Serve as the primary contact for the onshore and offshore team for the Insurance transformation Project. Coordinate meetings communications and processes between the onshore and offshore teams to resolve open issues validate decisions and synchronize planning tasks consistent with scope of the project.
- Leading and managing a professional team in delivering quality output within the given deadlines and budget.
- Conduct workshops and knowledge transfer sessions with the offshore team
- Work with the clients in defining systems and project priorities scope assessment approach resource requirements timing and prioritizing deliverables.
- Identifying the right resources for executing the project deliverables.
- Identifying project team training needs and facilitate the same to all the team members
- Ensuring that the project requirements and project design approach meet the client standards and the recommended practices.
- Reviewing and validating the completeness and applicability of the client requirements and to map ant tailor them to the delivery management processes.
- Supporting team members in organizing meeting with engagement / client in resolving doubts & issues with respect to deliverables.
- Conducting software quality reviews of developed software modules.
- Monitoring the overall project and providing weekly written and oral status reports and regular updates to the teams and also providing to plan information.
- Presenting project progress by conducting senior management reviews on monthly basis.
- Prepare and monitor staff training quality assurance risk management and productivity.
- Contribute to organization performance management by identifying reuse artifacts during the course of the project.
- Assist Engagement Manager in identifying current and future competency needs of the group.
- Improve customer relations by way of effective communication managing expectation and meeting commitments.
