Senior Frontend Software Development Engineer
Kneat enables regulated organizations to move from paper-based validation to intelligent digitized paperless solutions. And we do it through the ongoing development of a powerful purpose-built software 2014 after 8 years of intensive software development we launched the worlds most advanced validation software to help revolutionize the speed precision transparency and intelligence of validation in the Life Sciences sector. The solution is now used by some of the worlds leading Life Sciences companies.
As Kneat continues to expand we are looking for enthusiastic Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our R&D Dept.
Position Summary
Reporting to our Software Development Manager the Senior Software Developer will help Kneat grow its market leading technology by contributing to the continuous growth and improvement of our software.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Extensive professional experience with modern JavaScript frameworks especially React (v16 and above)
- Deep understanding of advanced React concepts (hooks context state management code splitting performance optimization)
- Proven track record of writing robust automated unit and integration tests
- Strong proficiency in Git and collaborative workflows (branching pull requests code reviews)
- Expert-level JavaScript (ES6) HTML and CSS skills
- Hands-on experience with web bundlers (Webpack Lerna Rollup) and optimizing build pipelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to mentor and guide junior engineers
- Solution-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering maintainable scalable code
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with Behaviour Driven Development (BDD)
- Advanced knowledge
- Familiarity with containerisation (Docker Kubernetes)
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement secure performant and well-tested features using modern React best practices
- Lead technical discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex design and engineering challenges
- Drive code quality through peer reviews mentorship and continuous improvement
- Share expertise and foster learning within the front-end engineering team
