Job Description

FROM: Dr. Kathleen F. Moran Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources SUBJECT: Part Time Title I Tutors for Private Schools (up to 6)Qualifications: MA DESE Elementary license required Classroom teaching experience Strong communication skills with a willingness to communicate with private school classroom teachers private school leadership and district-based leadership Responsibilities: Assess students literacy skills using the DIBELS 8th edition three times a year and if applicable assess students math skills three times a year using a mutually agreed upon explicit instruction to identified groups of Brockton students needing additional support (up to but no more than 17hours/week with students and 1 hour/week for planning)Collaborate with the school-based staff/leadership and Brockton Public Schools district leadershipSubmit BOY and EOY student data to Brockton Public Schools Title I Coordinator Submit payroll every other weekCompensation: $45.00 per hour Source of Funding: Title I Please Note: These positions are dependent upon grant funding (Title I Equitable Share)Application Deadline: until filledStart Date: September 2025Position Type: part time (12 18 hours) Positions Available: up to 6 Job Categories: part time intervention
