We are growing our team and hiring an Assistant Superintendent to help run interior projects manage the jobsite day to day and partner closely with our trade partners.

The role
As our next Assistant Superintendent you will co-lead the jobsite with an experienced Senior Superintendent. You will drive the schedule quality and safety while learning our proven process.
What you will do
Coordinate and direct daily field activities with subcontractors and vendors
Keep the job moving - maintain look-ahead plans track deliveries and remove roadblocks
Own safety in the field - daily audits toolbox talks and readiness for OSHA at all times
Maintain field documentation - daily reports photos with locations inspections
Read plans and specs verify scope and help with RFIs and submittals coordination
Walk the work - QAQC punchlists and closeout with a focus on first-time quality
Communicate clearly with owners architects inspectors and the UrbanCore team

Skills and experience
1 to 3 years of experience in commercial interiors or related field leadership
Could be as an Assistant Superintendent PE strong Foreman or similar role
Comfortable interpreting plans and specs
Working knowledge of Excel Bluebeam and Word. Procore familiarity is a plus
Strong documentation habits and an eye for safety
Understanding of master and look-ahead schedules

Compensation and benefits
Salary: 70000 to 90000 per year plus bonus
Employee health coverage 100 percent paid by the company
401k with company match of 100 percent up to 3 percent and 50 percent up to 5 percent
Unlimited vacation
All projects within 60 minutes of Richmond
