As a Staff Engineer you are a key player in this story. You help multiple teams within a subdomain move forward with technical leadership structure and direction. You see the bigger picture guide complex system designs and ensure that technical decisions contribute to sustainable customer-focused solutions.

Your role combines deep technical expertise with leadership and vision. You operate at the intersection of technology collaboration and organizational development.
As a Staff Engineer your focus is on creating flow: you pave the way for effective collaboration scalable systems and sound decision-making. You do this not just through code or documentation but especially by working with people.
You:
- Develop and guide engineering strategies that align with business goals.
- Simplify complex architectures and make them understandable and practical for teams.
- Bring people together to make better technical and organizational decisions.
- Facilitate change through interactive sessions and encourage shared ownership.
- Understand what teams can and should handle themselves and know when to challenge support or give them space.
- Apply situational leadership and adjust your style based on the context and team maturity.
- Are comfortable speaking to larger groups and know how to guide structured decision-making.
- Work on cross-team implementations where collaboration is just as important as the technology.
You create a context in which teams can take responsibility while you provide frameworks direction and oversightnot by doing everything yourself or constantly offering technical proof but by guiding the process and building trust.

In addition you have:
- Experience simplifying complex architecture and fostering innovation.
- Deep knowledge of system design and experience with scalable and resilient platforms.
- Strong technical leadership: you empower teams without taking over.
- Skill in facilitating decision-making and creating shared support.
- Familiarity with methods such as Team Topologies socio-technical thinking and Domain-Driven Design.
- Experience driving change through workshops collaboration and dialogue with multiple stakeholders.
- A pragmatic approach that connects technical direction to broader organizational goals.
We offer

- A gross salary between 5.700 - 7.300 per month (based on 40 hours).
- An annual bonus of max 10% of your annual salary based on organizational goals.
