Job Description
Audio Visual Systems Engineer will be working within engineering team of the Integrated Projects Team in Hong Kong office. The role will involve designing programming testing and supporting of complex audio/visual systems; and also working with different parties to complete the project efficiently and professionally.
General Description
To provide AV and UC system support to Meeting Rooms or AV events at differentclient sites
To assist in coordination with all AV and UC systems related works to ensure standards uniformity and integration is maintained with clients
To troubleshoot faulty systems and submit site inspection report for maintenance team to further follow up
Work with project team to implement clients ITAV infrastructure e.g. conduct site survey
Be able to handle hardware installation and cabling work by following schematic
drawings
Coordinate with relevant parties to prepare test plan and carry out T&C tasks onsite with client
Prepare project documentation including system information administration guide and user manual
Assist Project Manager to conduct project handover to client
Remains contactable via phone out of office hours
Flexible on work hours included weekend and public holidays to meet project schedule
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Key Skills
Knowledge of Control System and DSP (Crestron AMX Biamp QSC etc.)
Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical mind
Passion on learning latest technologies
High comfort level working in a diverse environment
Self-motivated ability to work independently and under pressure
Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and vendors. Network knowledge is a plus but not mandatory
Work experience requirements
Minimum 2 years working experiences in related field
Experience with AV Control System and DSP programming and configuration
System Integrator working experience is an advantage
Industry certifications such as CTS Crestron AMX Extron Biamp QSC etc. are preferred but not mandatory
Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior System Engineer
Education Requirements
Certificate or Higher Diploma in Audio Engineering Engineering or related discipline
