Our client a major Maryland Hospitalis seeking an experienced and dynamicNurse Managerto oversee daily operations and clinical excellence within theEmergency Department. This is an opportunity to lead a high-performing team influence patient outcomes and shape the future of emergency care at one of Marylands most respected community hospitals.
ABOUT THE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
- 60-bed Emergency Departmentserving over60000 patients annually
- Treats a broad range of cases includingcardiac events stroke behavioral health orthopedic injuries and minor trauma
- Includes adedicated rapid care areafor lower-acuity patients
- Collaborative and skilled nursing team with a strong culture of support and engagement
WHAT YOULL DO AS NURSE MANAGER
- Provide24-hour operational and clinical leadershipfor the Emergency Department
- Oversee daily patient care delivery staffing and team development
- Partner with Assistant Nurse Managers to ensure efficient resource allocation and care coordination
- Promote quality safety and patient satisfaction in alignment with hospital and system-wide goals
- Foster a culture of accountability growth and innovation
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)from an accredited school required
- ActiveMaryland RN license(or compact state equivalent)
- 57 years of clinical nursing experience; prior emergency nursing and/or leadership experience preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- National certification in nursing leadership or clinical specialty preferred
