PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and oversee the performance of Transportation Specialists and Coordinators organizing their workloads. Conduct reporting and data analysis using transportation technology applications such as nuVizz and Transportation Management Systems. Develop and train team members to ensure redundancy for critical reporting systems and foster a high-performing team culture. Analyze transportation KPIs and compile data from various systems to identify opportunities for process improvements improved customer experience and cost reductions. Monitor vendor compliance with global contracts and manage contracts and depot information for carriers. Prepare data and requirements for transportation RFPs new customer onboarding and carrier transitions. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires broad training in fields such as business administration supply chain logistics or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelors degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires minimum of six (6) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.
Previous team leadership experience with proven results building a high performing team. Experience with Transportation Management Systems a plus. Exposure to courier industry and/or pool distribution environments helpful small package LTL and TL experience a plus. Experience in the preparation of or responding to RFPs in a transportation environment.

9. Strong computer skills in order to operate effectively with company systems and programs; knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
