Job Description

Sr. Technical Project Manager

Position Summary:

Being a seasoned PM is all about achieving project goals & helping team succeed in this

endeavor. PM should be client focused and have experience handling multiple teams. PM

should have pre-sale experience in understanding the scope of the project creating WBS and

estimating the right skills needed. Eventhough PM themself doesnt write requirements or code

or test plans but is in position to review and man-age SDLC. PM communicate coordinate and

facilitate doing whatever it takes to help the team deliver whats asked of them. PM should have

excellent knowledge of the scrum framework (SAFe will be Plus) with all its artifacts and

techniques. PM will also need the ability to coordinate people and projects (occasionally

facilitating changes) with your mind set on deliverables. If youre a strong communicator a

capable leader and youre invested in Agile frameworks (Scrum Safe etc.) wed like to meet you.

Responsibilities:

Efficiently manages multiple concurrent project assignments project tracking issue resolution

time sheet logging and reporting and communicating project progress.

Develops manages and maintains comprehensive accurate project plans and schedules as

well as performs estimation forecasting planning analysis issue / risk / change management

escalation management meeting facilitation variance analysis and status reporting to the

Account manager key stakeholders

Responsible for effective project kickoff identification of all project stakeholders helping to define

and clarify project roles and responsibilities.

Gets team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and

employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.

Fosters a climate conducive to establishing positive working relationships with teams and clients

(internal and external)

Experience in creating and presenting Project Status Report to stakeholders

Past experience in technically managing teams and is a techno-manager with ability to manage

projects developed on any platform/language

Works with Scrum Teams as well as internal and external stakeholders to influence and drive

decision-making and support organizational project or product teams.

Resolves team impediments including dependencies (across team or with customers) to ensure

deliverables are on time with high quality

Is proactively communicating stakeholders on issues/risks & its impacts

Skillfully manages scope of projects and the expectation of the stakeholders and the forward

progress of teams responsible for the work

Guides and coaches multiple Scrum Teams on how to use Agile practices and principles to

deliver high-quality products and services to our customers.

Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning Daily Scrum Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Background of being a technical lead with experience in delivering project in a fast-paced

environment

Expertise on any Project Management Tools like JIRA Microsoft Project etc

Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to

Outlook Word Powerpoint and Excel.

Experience of creating WBS based on project requirement and sizing it for Pre-Sales

Customer obsessed and vocal in raising the bar for team both in quality and timelines

Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and an

understand- ing of facilitation techniques

Outstanding communication facilitation negotiation and coaching skills

Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done user stories

auto- mated testing backlog refinement)

Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum Kanban) or understanding of software

development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management

principles and practices

Adept at refinement story splitting estimation velocity retrospection and other Scrum techniques

Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles

PMP CSM Prince2 Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certifications are highly preferred.

SAFe experience is Plus
