We are looking for you Marine Development Manager to join our team in Hoofddorp
In this role you will focus on identifying supporting analysing and developing data driven decisions with the support from data analysis tools and shipping dashboards. You will provide guidance to shipping service providers to ensure compliance with MRM safety criteria. Furthermore you will lead shippings supplier compliance screening in co-operations with chartering managers and corporate compliance team. You actively identify opportunities in improving our marine efficiency and sustainability of marine transportations.

Your role in our team
Analyzing chartering performance create benchmarking of chartering performance and establishing best in class practices for chartering
Guiding chartering processes and providing opportunities for improvement to chartering managers
Assisting external service providers to compy with Neste safety criteria
Actively stay up to date with Marine industry developments in order to enable Neste to be a forerunner in marine logistics
Overseeing quality assurance and compliance with EI/JIG industry standards during shipping blending storage and delivery
Create and give relevant internal trainings on marine processes and procedures
The best combination to succeed in this role
A relevant Masters/Bachelors degree.
At least 2-5 years work experience in marine field preferably as deck officer and/or with a ship management company or as a supercargo.
Solid track record on driving performance improvement by liaising with stakeholders
Good communication skills ability to make complex technical topics easy to understand
Proven ability to drive operational improvements and efficiencies
Willingness to travel
