The C1 at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a BD Manager to build deliver and maintain complex products that delight our customers and raise our performance bar. Youll design fault-tolerant systems that run at massive scale as we continue to innovate best-in-class services and applications in the AWS Cloud.
Key job responsibilities
BD manager of Automotive is responsible for teaming with the customers IT Organization and business units to build strategic relationships across the account articulating a clear vision and generating enthusiasm while impacting all business groups. The rep is responsible for selling at the most strategic level within the account and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation. The rep will work with all appropriate AWS resources (Executives Solution Architects Business Development Marketing Partners Support Service teams and Professional Services) to support customer interests. The rep will also work closely with international team supporting the customer in other regions to ensure consistent account strategy and execution
Development of formal case studies and other forms of references highlighting activity and workloads running on AWS is core to the role.
A day in the life
As you design and code solutions to help our team drive efficiencies in software architecture youll create metrics implement automation and other improvements and resolve the root cause of software defects. Youll also:
Build high-impact solutions to deliver to our large customer base.
Participate in design discussions code review and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Work cross-functionally to help drive business decisions with your technical input.
Work in a startup-like development environment where youre always working on the most important stuff.

Minimum of 5 years experience in technology-related sales or business development roles.
Proven track record of successful sales or winning cases in the Media Entertainment & Advertising industry.
Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Engineering Computer Science or related disciplines). Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Extensive knowledge and experience in the Auto industry with a focus on IT modernization Data intelligence and GenAI innovation or related technologies.
Demonstrated success in managing large key accounts or high-volume business with a consistent record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
