Job Description

Licensed Truck & Coach Technician - 310T

We are currently looking for a full timeLicensed Truck & Coach Technician - 310Tto join our growing team!
Our ideal hire would have an in-depth understanding of construction machinery and vehicle maintenance.

As a Licensed Truck & Coach Technician - 310T you will be responsible for:

Diagnose and repair vehicles and equipment
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and annual safety inspections as required
Ensure work is performed safely efficiently within the time allotted and in accordance with legislated standards
Install and repair specialized vehicle accessories and safety equipment
Order and receive replacement or repair parts as directed and keep stock area in neat and tidy condition
Use hand tools to carry out maintenance and repair duties
Accurately complete forms reports and input/retrieve information into Fleet Management System
May be required to perform emergency roadside repairs
Attend training courses as required

Qualified candidates will possess:

Must hold a current Province of Ontario Motor Vehicle License 310T
Must hold Ontario Vehicle Operators Permit Class G in good standing
Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent
Must be able to read write and understand English
Must be able to complete various work forms and prepare simple written reports
Experience preferably in Fleet Maintenance environment dealing with a variety of light and heavy vehicles and up to date on automotive electronics
Experience with diagnostic equipment ie: scanners digital meters tire balancers brake lathes and AC filling and testing equipment
