A Brief Overview
Under the supervision of the Mammography Technical Supervisor the Lead Mammography Technologist is responsible for workflow of technical and ancillary personnel in assigned work areas. Troubleshoots equipment records and reports problems. Communicates with supervisor any unresolved issues. Responsible for completing QC tests on daily weekly monthly and quarterly basis. Produces quality images following established departmental and QA protocols using independent judgment and initiative. Covers for the supervisor during the absence. Ability to perform general and specialized mammographic procedures which meet the departments standard of quality. Capable of organizing work priorities and adjusting as circumstances require. Performs related duties as requested. Treats patients staff physicians and the general public in a friendly courteous and helpful manner. Incorporates the concepts of the Mission and Vision into practice.

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $72.25 - $81.35 per hourThe salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity experience education specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
